Protecting entry doors and glass across three private school campuses
To help improve campus security and strengthen vulnerable entry points, MD Window Films installed high-security window film systems across the elementary school, middle school, and high school campuses for this private Christian school organization. Using our commercial security film installation services, we applied 14 mil thick Armorcoat security film manufactured by Solar Gard to the interior side of all front entry doors and surrounding glass areas to help provide additional protection against forced entry attempts, vandalism, and active shooter threats.
This multi-campus school security project focused on strengthening the main entry glass systems at the elementary school, middle school, and high school campuses without changing the appearance or daily functionality of the buildings. Because the work involved active school entrances and high-traffic access points, the installation required careful planning and precise application to ensure clean results and reliable long-term performance across every protected glass surface.
To help improve protection against vandalism, forced entry attempts, and active shooter threats, we installed 14 mil Armorcoat security film by Solar Gard on the interior side of all front entry doors and surrounding glass areas at each campus. The project also included a wet glaze attachment system engineered to help strengthen glass retention and improve how the filmed glass responds during impact events.
