Installing security and anti-graffiti window film at a Christian pregnancy center
After receiving threats involving potential vandalism and fire bombing concerns, this Christian pregnancy center contacted MD Window Films to help improve the security and protection of the building’s vulnerable glass areas. Using our commercial security window film installation services, we installed 10 mil Armorcoat Silver 20 security film on the interior side of the windows to help strengthen the existing glass while also adding daytime privacy and solar control benefits.
This security upgrade project focused on helping protect a Christian pregnancy center that had received threats involving possible vandalism and fire bombing concerns. Because the building remained fully operational during the installation, careful coordination and precise film application were required to maintain a clean appearance while improving the protection of the facility’s exposed glass areas.
To strengthen the existing glazing system, we installed 10 mil Armorcoat Silver 20 security film on the interior side of the windows to help improve glass retention, increase impact resistance, and provide additional daytime privacy. We also applied a 7 mil anti-graffiti film to the exterior side of the glass to help protect against scratching, etching, vandalism, and other intentional after-hours damage.
